TitleMS 126 students investigate oyster cage habitat
SummaryStudents take direct action in the clean up Newtown Creek. They participated in the Billion Oyster Project and learned to build, install, monitor and collect data from oyster cages on the pier at Transmitter Park in Greenpoint. The cages are designed as oyster habitats and encourage and support the restoration of oyster reefs along Newtown Creek.
