  • SummaryCollage, 23 x 25 inches, includes photographs of Iraqi children and an African American child. Artwork created in New York Harbor Hospital Creative Arts Program, led by Beryl Brenner. Project: Visions of vets, 2009, referencing the theme: Who is an American veteran? Artwork was displayed at the New Jersey Vietnam Veterans Memorial and Vietnam Era Museum and Education Center. Exhibition label: Souljah's life by Rohan Golding. Mr. Golding is an Iraq war veteran. He indicated that “in the Iraq war one often had the feeling of us against them.” He portrays himself alone on the side separated from the Iraqis. This confirms the difficulty of fighting in a war where the enemy and the ally look physically identical.
