The Larry Racioppo collection contains photographs collected in Racioppo’s book: Brooklyn Before: Photographs, 1971–1983, published in 2018. In it are views of the neighborhoods where Racioppo was raised, stretching from historic Park Slope to the beginnings of Windsor Terrace and Sunset Park, featuring austere and populated streetscapes, portraits of friends and family, accidental street encounters, and public events including parades and religious processions.
