The Gore collection holds prints of photographs taken at four Brooklyn events: a Lowa wedding ceremony in Flatbush, circa 2007; the Tribute to the Ancestors ceremony at Coney Island, memorializing enslaved Africans who died at sea in their forced passage to the Americas, 2008; the Gateway to Nations powwow at Floyd Bennett Field in June, 2010; and the West Indian American Day Carnival Parade in 2017.
