Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Passport Services at Brooklyn Public Library are closed until further notice. All appointments and walk-in services are canceled as well.
In an effort to maximize patrons‘ chances of getting an appointment, you will only be able to book 7 days in advance.
Brooklyn Public Library has been informed by the U.S. Department of State that we are no longer eligible to provide passport services. The last day of BPL passport services will be February 27, 2026. All appointments through February 27 will be honored. Staff will work with those who have appointments after February 27 to reschedule for an earlier date, if possible. Due to a technical issue, reservations cannot be made at the Park Slope Library. We are working on resolving this issue.

Appointments for Central Library can be booked 7 days in advance. Appointments for Kings Highway Library can be booked 7 days in advance.
