First-Time Passport Appointment

Brooklyn Public Library has been informed by the U.S. Department of State that we are no longer eligible to provide passport services. The last day of BPL passport services will be February 27, 2026. All appointments through February 27 will be honored. Staff will work with those who have appointments after February 27 to reschedule for an earlier date, if possible. You can learn how to make an appointment or find another passport agency at http://travel.state.gov/

In an effort to maximize patrons‘ chances of getting an appointment, you will only be able to book 7 days in advance.

Appointments for Central Library can be booked 7 days in advance. Appointments for Kings Highway Library can be booked 7 days in advance.
