Closed for Renovation
The Brighton Beach Branch will temporarily close for short-term renovation at the end of business on Saturday, January 9, 2016. We anticipate the library being closed until Fall 2016 to demolish and replace the heating and cooling systems, install new ductwork, new LED lighting and other branch improvements.
Effective Monday, February 8, 2016, Brooklyn Public Library has collaborated with the Shorefront Jewish Community Council to provide a pop-up computer lab in the Brighton Beach Community at 128 Brighton Beach Avenue, 4th Floor. Conveniently located around the corner from the Brighton Beach Library the lab will provide service Monday to Wednesday from 11am - 1pm and 2pm - 4pm.
Bookmobile service will be provided near the Brighton Beach Library on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11am to 4pm beginning on Tuesday, January 12, 2016.
Located one block from the boardwalk, Brighton Beach Library serves a bustling neighborhood unlike any other in Brooklyn.
