Closed for Renovation
From March 28, 2015 to late Fall 2015, the Ulmer Park Library will close while we install a new roof, LED lighting and other cosmetic improvements. During the closure we will provide interim Bookmobile service on Mondays and Wednesdays from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Ulmer Park Library opened as a sub-Library in 1951, and within five years grew into a full library. The library moved to its current location in 1963. The library houses a large Russian and Chinese book collection. In 1988, it became the first BPL library to implement computer-networked circulation.
