University Open Air: Women Empowerment in Islam
In this lecture, we will duscuss seven brave ladies who are from holy prophet Muhammad (PBUH) family: Khadeja tul Kubra (S.A), Fatima bint e Asad (S.A), Ummul Banin (S.A), Fatima bint e Muhammad (PBUH), Zainub bint e Ali (A.S), Sakina Bint e Hussain (A.S) and Masooma e Qum (S.A). We will discuss their their outstanding efforts, how Islam empowered women and how they did unique jobs in Islam.
Nadia Batool Bokhari is currently a full-time M.S. journalism student at Columbia University Newyork. She works as a freelance journalist and TV anchor from Pakistan. She has over a decade of international reporting experience, often focusing on issues of social justice, human rights, and health. She's received fellowships from the U.S. on the multimedia web tools, health reporting, Census 2020. She has studied journalism in the USA, UK, India, and Pakistan.
