The Sursystem 3R Magazine, La Linterna edition, was built in a workshop of more than 15 people, and held in La Linterna (Cali, Colombia). One of its objectives was to publish the Sursystem 3R Magazine, reusing macules from the prints of the posters made in La Linterna. Another goal was to teach participants about movable type printing and how circular consumption can be incorporated into print production. At the end of the workshop, each participant designed a page with movable type that was incorporated into the content of the magazine, which also included instructions for making objects with reusable and recycled materials. The workshop participants reused the blank side of old posters to print out the new content they designed. This exercise of circular consumption gave new life to the old paper and allowed the creation of a new magazine with a different value: it was both new content, and a new life for the old posters. We can apply this kind of circular consumption to many aspects of our daily life.
