Dweck Cultural Center*

Conveniently located at BPL's Central Library on Grand Army Plaza, the fully accessible, 189-seat Dweck Cultural Center provides a comfortable and private space for lectures and corporate seminars. Acoustically well-balanced and with unobstructed sightlines, this intimate auditorium has been attracting ever-larger audiences since it opened in the fall of 2007.

The Dweck Center is perfect for corporate seminars and training sessions, college admission information sessions, town hall style events, private, free performances and recitals, small graduation ceremonies and much more. The Dweck Center also offers a large lobby space for continental breakfast, coffee service, buffet lunch, vendor presentations and networking.

*Please note that the Dweck Cultural Center is continually used for free public programming. Bookings for this space must be requested at least three months in advance.

Providing stunning views of Grand Army Plaza, this elegant, oak-paneled room on the building's top floor can accommodate a variety of setups and capacities. AV equipment is also available for presentations.

The Second Floor Meeting Room at Central Library is perfect for groups under 30 people. The room features access to free wifi and projector capability for presentations.

The Second Floor Computer Lab at Central Library features 14 student computer workstations, one teacher computer station and one smartboard projector unit, and is ideal for small training sessions.

Nestled behind Central Library's Popular Library is the Balcony Conference Room. This unique space can host 25 committee style or 35 auditorium style. The Balcony Conference Room also offers a variety of AV set-ups for conferences and visual presentations.

Brooklyn Public Library has a number of large and small meeting rooms in addition to auditoriums throughout its system of 60 branches that can accommodate group sizes ranging from ten to seventy five people and are ideal for civic meetings, retreats, workshops and small business seminars.
