Brooklyn Public Library's limestone-clad Central Library may be the perfect location for your next special event or business meeting. The landmarked art deco building, located in the heart of Brooklyn at Grand Army Plaza, boasts a variety of spaces ideal for meetings, small receptions, and intimate cocktail parties.

The Dr. S. Stevan Dweck Center for Contemporary Culture

Our newest addition to Central Library, the state-of-the-art auditorium (completed in 2007) and adjacent lobby and conference rooms can accommodate 189 guests.

The Trustees' Room

Providing a stunning view of Grand Army Plaza, this elegant oak-paneled room on the building's top floor can accommodate up to 60 people for cocktails.

Meeting Rooms - Smaller

The Library has a number of smaller meeting rooms that can accommodate up to 15 guests, and is ideal for retreats or small business meetings. All rental fees support Brooklyn Public Library's collections and services. Central Library is also regularly featured in television and film productions and hosts photography shoots of various types.
