Meet with Yai Vargas, CEO and founder of The Latinista and a leading multicultural marketing expert with a niche in building marketing strategies and community engagement programs. Having been born in the Dominican Republic and immigrating to the United States at a young age, Yai’s story is one many people can relate to. The cultural and social nuances along with family traditions that were gathered along the way have all been weaved into the very fabric of Yai’s brand.

Yai is one of WE NYC's WE Connect Mentors—successful women who volunteer to coach other entrepreneurs—who will share her expertise during this small group session. Seating is on a first come basis. Presented in partnership with WE NYC.

BPL’s Business & Career Center is generously supported by Dime Community Bank, Lead Funder of the PowerUP! Business Plan Competition, women.nyc, Dr. Beverly S. Jacobs, Ridgewood Savings Bank, Con Edison, ReferenceUSA, Elizabeth Crowell & Robert Wilson and Signature Bank.
