During this Training the Trainers: Intensive Wikipedia Training Edit-a-thon, AfroCROWD goes deeper in its training. We will have experienced Wikipedia Coaches on hand to teach you how to edit Wikipedia as well as more focused training on how to make your articles stick.

We will focus the session on some of the harder topics like navigating Wikipedia's editing features, adding photos and infoboxes, notability, research and how to handle disappearing articles. You won't want to miss it!

It's free and there will be food and drinks. All languages and levels are welcome, come as you are. We will have laptops but feel free to bring your own. Feel free to bring friends.

Afro Free Culture Crowdsourcing Wikimedia (AfroCROWD) is a new initiative which seeks to increase the number of people of African Descent who actively partake in the Wikimedia and free knowledge, culture and software movements. Since its launch during Black Wiki History Month in 2015, AfroCROWD has sensitized thousands in its target audience about free culture crowdsourcing and the need to close the multicultural and gender gaps in Wikipedia.
