Summer Reading at Brooklyn Public Library kicks off on Thursday, June 8, with free, fun activities and entertainment from 10:30 am – 3:00 pm on the Central Library Plaza. This year, the plaza will be transformed into a maker space with projects for all ages.

  • Explore artifacts and the language of signal flags with the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum.
  • Make an interactive Story Sculpture with Beam Center.
  • Build with blocks in the First Five Years area.
  • Face Painting, Temporary Tattoos, and More!
