On Saturday, June 1st, Summer Reading 2019 launches  “A Universe of Stories” with fun space-themed programs and activities for all ages from 10 am - 5 pm.

 

10:30 am: Kids Create: Galaxy Collage

Create a galaxy-themed collage using a variety of craft materials

12:30 pm: Karaoke!

Special teen guest performance

2:30 pm:  Rhythm and Sound in the Theater by Urban Stages

Jon Berger shares wisdom from his 35-year-career as a percussionist on Broadway and in the recording studio.

Participants will experience hands-on how percussion sound effects are used in the theater, TV, and movies to tell stories, enhance stage action, and excite dance.

All instruments provided.
