Brooklyn Public Library cordially invites adults to come together to find a moment of peace in these difficult times. Instructor Lavender Suarez will guide participants through simple meditation techniques (breathing exercises, gentle movement, relaxing music). No experience is required.
Participants are encouraged to listen in a quiet place without distractions, and should also wear headphones or plug their device into external speakers. It's recommended that you lie down or sit during the session.
Participants must register and a Zoom link to join the program will be emailed the day before.
Lavender Suarez is a meditation teacher and sound healing practitioner who previously taught the "Meditation for Creative Expression" series here at BPL.
Be sure to join us for session 2 of Sound Healing and Meditation: on March 9th, 5:00-6:00 pm.
