Register for Free Pre-HSE Young Adult Literacy Program at the Brooklyn Public Library (Ages 17 - 24)

The Young Adult Literacy Program (YALP) is a full-time academic and work - readiness program designed to meet the specific needs of young adults between the ages of 17 and 24.

YALP's rigorous but supportive culture is geared toward all motivated and focused young adults who are up to the task of pursuing their high school equivalency diploma.

Participants must be between the ages of 17 and 24.

17 year olds MUST bring proof of discharge from the NYC Department of Education.

Please bring a pen and plan to stay for at least two (2) hours.

Placement is given at the end of the session.
