In Praise of Failure celebrates the great importance of failure in any creative endeavor and makes visible creative process in a public forum through our Spring season. Tonight, our diverse group of creatives-in-residence, working across disciplines, from art to letters to architecture, share the development of their work with a live audience and invited respondents from partner cultural organizations to give them valuable feedback.

William Kentridge: In Praise of Failure is made possible in part through support by and by Brooklyn Public Library’s Fund for the Humanities, established through the generous support of the National Endowment for the Humanities, The Hearst Foundation, Inc., Horace W. Goldsmith Foundation, The Starr Foundation, the Leon and Muriel Gilbert Charitable Trust, Henry and Lucy Moses Fund, Inc. and a gift in memory of Samuel and Pauline Wine.
