About the Program: Do you enjoy writing? Great, come write with us! April is poetry month and we are kicking it off with Haikus! A Haiku is a traditional Japanese poem that is short and written in a syllable count of five syllables for the first line, seven syllables for the second line, then five syllables for the last line.

About the Writing Group: The writing group meets once a month on the second to last thursday of every month, except during special months when it will meet every week, such as poetry month! Patrons do no have to register or make every meeting. The group writes on a different topic every meeting so patrons don't have to worry about missing a meeting or keeping up.
