Parents, Caregivers and Educators, join Brooklyn Public Library and NYC's Office to End Gender Biased Violence for a Workshop on Dating Violence Prevention and Healthy Relationships

This session engages  parents and caregivers to learn about the topic of dating violence among teenagers and young adults. Topics will include the definitions of teen dating violence and intimate partner violence, tactics an abusive partner may use to gain power and control over a partner, characteristics of a healthy relationship, warning signs of abusive partners, communications skills for talking to your teen about relationships, and resources available to teens in NYC. Participants must be at least 18 years old.

Registration is required. Zoom link will be sent before the program.
