Hello everyone, the Kings Highway ESOL Literacy Zone Team is hosting an NYC Care Outreach Healthcare Session Thursday, August 1st from 3pm to 4pm at Kings Highway Library (2115 Ocean Avenue Brooklyn, NY 11229).

The purpose of this healthcare outreach session is to engage immigrants, underserved, and uninsured New Yorkers to inform them about:

  • NYC Care
  • The importance of primary care
  • The services available at NYC Health + Hospitals 
  • Work towards identifying, engaging, and referring New Yorkers for health insurance screenings
  • Those deemed ineligible will be referred to NYC Care
