Erica "Twelve45" Blunt (she/her) is a rising force known for her prowess as a Composer, DJ, and Sound Designer. Captivating audiences, Erica has performed at renowned venues such as the National Gallery of Art, Highline Ballroom, and Brooklyn Museum. Her video mix series Day by Day combines music and nature visuals to evoke peace and introspection. Using music as her medium, Erica cherishes creating a body of work that is both entertaining and edifying.  Her dynamic career spans various music genres and artistic mediums, showcasing her versatility and creativity. Recently, Erica composed and designed for Dance Theatre of Harlem's ballet Sounds of Hazel, which premiered in New York’s City Center in April 2023. In the same month, she premiered an evening-length work, The Path, as a composer and audiovisual designer for the modern dance company EMERGE125 under the direction of her collaborator, Tiffany Rea-Fisher. As the Resident Composer for EMERGE125, Erica has composed notable works including dance films Rights of Renaissance and Geography of Grace.   Erica received the John Brown Lives! Fellowship for Artists, Activists, and Scholars in 2022. She then joined JBL! as a Board Member promoting justice and equity.
