Mending Workshop for Teens
Join esa New York on Thursday May, 19 from 3:30-7:30PM for a fun mending workshop!
In partnership with esa New York, Brooklyn Public Library, Caroll Garden's Branch, present a t-shirt and jeans revamp event tailored especially for teenagers. They supply everything you need to turn old t-shirts and jeans into new-to-you pieces. Whether it's minor repairs or major overhauls our skilled instructors will work with you one-on-one to help you make your visions real. Bring your old jeans and t-shirts and they'll bring some for you to choose from too.
No experience needed to attend this event!
esa New York has been hosting mending and sustainable fashion events since 2016. Making (or remaking) your clothes can be intimidating. We're here to give you the confidence you need to turn clothes you like into ones you love. Fashion is one of the most polluting industries on the planet. When the clothes you wear express who you are on the inside, they last much longer than the average 18 months.
