The Macon Pageturners read and discuss fiction and non-fiction from across the African Diaspora. We meet every first and second Friday online; at our first meeting we discuss the author and their life. At the second meeting we review the book of the month. This October’s book will be Triangular Road by Paule Marshall.

Where to find it: Triangular Road is available from the Brooklyn Public Library in eBook and physical formats.

About the book: Published in 2009, Triangular Road is a memoir about a young black woman coming of age. Paule Marshall (1929-2019) was born into a Bajan family in Bed-stuy and began her literary career as a poet.
