Community Health Project/Callen-Lorde Community Health Center’s Insurance Navigator Program is available to help determine if you may be eligible for free public health insurance (Child Health Plus and Medicaid, or free or low cost Essential Plan through the ACA) and, if so, help you enroll. Trained staff will meet with you, screen what programs you qualify for, and submit the application on your behalf. Although open enrollment for the Affordable Care Act ended on January 31, if you have had a special life event (marriage, divorce, loss of job, birth or adoption of a child), you may still be eligible to enroll.
For more information, call Callen-Lorde at 212-271-7270.
