The Children's Museum of Manhattan presents a "Simple Machines" program on paddleboats. Learn about kinetic energy, propellers, and Newton's Third Law of Motion: "For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction." Then make your own paddleboat and learn how they move.

Recommended for children in grades one through five.

This program is made possible by a generous donation from the Mary Rose Dallal Bequest Fund.
