Kids and Teens are welcome to join us for a meditation and mindfulness workshop as part of our new Change Agents programming. This program creates a focused engagement on one’s feelings, senses, energy and emotions. You are welcome to bring a yoga mat from home to aid in comfort during the program.
This workshop will be led by Erin Heisel. Erin has been incorporating mindfulness practices in her work as a singer and voice teacher for over a decade and has studied compassion-based practices and meditation at the The Path/The Nalanda Institute in New York City. Movement-related studies include 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training at the American Yoga Academy, Skinner Releasing Technique methods at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst and Union Theological Seminary, movement improvisation with the Northampton Theatre Workshop, and physical theatre studies with Nan Smithner at New York University. She holds additional certifications in Laughter Facilitation, Corporate Yoga, and Reiki (Level 3: Master Practitioner/Teacher).
