On September 16th, we will offer an introduction to drawing class. This is a practical class where students will learn how to draw with pencil and charcoal. Students will complete a drawing of a still life using concepts such as line, shape, light, and negative space. This class is open to people ages 12 and up. All supplies are provided. No RSVP is necessary. First come, first served.
Becky Chipkin is a Brooklyn-based artist and art conservator. She has over 10 years of experience in drawing, painting, and printmaking. She previously hosted workshops at the Brooklyn Public Library with her sister as part of a printmaking duo.
