The Freakdog Workshop is a free monthly acting class for beginners and professionals, ages 14 years and up. Each workshop explores exercises designed to ignite the imagination, provide a platform for the voice and create interesting characters and behavior. Students practice trusting their impulses and learn to indulge their pleasure to make bold choices in a safe, supportive environment.

The Freakdog Workshop is taught by Josh Rowe, a NYC-based actor, director and Founder of Freakdog. As director, designer and/or performer, Josh has worked in dozens of theaters across NYC. He also teaches at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting and has taught with The Offstage Group. As Operations Manager at Spaceworks and Assistant Producer for Company XIV, Josh supports the artistic practice of creatives across the city.

Classes will be held in Spaceworks Studio A, located on the second floor of the Williamsburgh Library.

Please register in advance.  Register for each monthly class separately.
