Brooklyn Public Library invites teens to come together to find a moment of peace in these stressful times. Instructor Lavender Suarez will guide participants through simple meditation techniques (breathing exercises, gentle movement, relaxing music) as well as inspiring creativity and journaling exercises. No experience necessary.

Participants are encouraged to listen in a quiet place without distractions, and have some blank paper, pen/pencil and some drawing materials ready for the creative meditation activities.

Participants must register and a Zoom link to join the program will be emailed in advance.

Lavender Suarez is a meditation teacher and sound healing practitioner who previously taught the "Meditation for Creative Expression" series here at BPL.
