Culture Pass Programs: CIVICKIDS Identity
CIVICKIDS: Make Art. Make A Difference is a year-long series of exhibitions, community events, and digital art calls hosted by Children's Museum of the Arts in New York City.
Who are we but what we like? Our identities can be influenced by always shaving an open mind and being receptive to the beauty around us. Small glimpses of color can calm us. Gazing at an elegant line can inspire us.
Rooted in the belief that art builds empathy, understanding, and respect for others, CIVICKIDS aims to foster civic engagement and shared community pride through art making. Each month, CMA will issue a digital art making challenge based on themes of civic engagement including environmentalism, identity, equity, leadership, sustainability and kindness.
Culture Pass is supported by generous funding from The New York Community Trust, Charles H. Revson Foundation, Stavros Niarchos Foundation and the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs.
