Many of us are concerned about losing our data to malicious hackers, but we don't know how these attacks work. Once you know telltale signs of an online scam, you can better protect your data. Join digital security trainers at Freedom of the Press Foundation as we discuss one of the most common methods of hacking: phishing scams. We'll show examples of phishing attacks, teach you what to look for so you can avoid these types of attacks, and share recommendations to prevent falling prey to them in the first place.

Take control of your information in this introductory workshop. Bring your devices for hands-on help, time allowing.
