We'll peek under the hood to see how websites work, with a focus on HTML—the visual part of a website. We'll learn how to design a website using HTML and HTML libraries. And we'll learn how HTML fits into the larger world of web development. This is a workshop, so bring a laptop if you have one; otherwise, we will provide one.

This workshop is part 1 of the series "Computer Programming for Beginners, the Unsure and the Afraid."

Part 2 - Saturday, October 21: Working with Data and Data Structures in Python
