How can we turn the grief, anger and fear surrounding the climate crisis into sources of action and joy in our communities? This event will help us connect with our climate-concerned neighbors and develop plans for making a difference. We’ll each identify an aspect of the climate crisis that matters to us, explore resources dealing with that concern, and brainstorm a game plan for action. Bring your curiosity, openness, and some hope. You don’t need any prior knowledge of climate science or the climate movement, just a desire to make a meaningful difference in your community.

Additional Climate Chat dates:

Thursday, Feb. 16th (at Greenpoint Library)

Please be considerate of your fellow guests and stay home if you’re feeling unwell. Also, consider wearing a mask when attending indoor BPL events. You’ll be doing your part to help keep yourself and everyone healthy and safe.

Space is limited, so please RSVP.

Presented by 350 Brooklyn, an affiliate of 350.org that works locally to counter the climate crisis through education, organization, and direct action.
