City Council District 34 Participatory Budgeting - Vote Week

Participatory Budgeting (PB) is a democratic process where community members directly decide how to spend part of a public budget. District 34 and community members suggested over 80 ideas in 2025 (FY26) to improve the district and we narrowed it down to 12 projects to vote on to be funded in the upcoming City Council budget.

Voting is open to everyone ages 11+ (or at least in 6th grade) who live in District 34 - regardless of immigration status or eligibility to vote in traditional elections.

Vote week is March 29 to April 6 - stop by DeKalb to vote in person, vote online, or at any of the following sites throughout the district:
