The Sunset Park Library Branch is pleased to present
a special program in celebration of
“El Día de Los Muertos” (The Day of the Dead )
With an initial DIY activity followed by the striking presentation
of the amazing Calpulli Youth Dance.
Calpulli Youth Dance returns to Brooklyn Public Library
audiences with El Día de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead),
outfitted in traditional costumes, the talented dancers
will take participants on a voyage from a festive town
in Mexico to Mictlan, the beautiful underworld of Aztec
mythology, where La Catrina is the mesmerizing Queen.
Enjoy a traditional hot chocolate,
pan de muerto, hojaldra, and more.
