This writing meetup provides an ongoing space to allow writers of all backgrounds and experience levels to work together and grow as writers. Everyone is welcome.
The general flow of the meetup will be:
1) Introductions
2) 25 min. of focused writing
3) Quick break
4) 25 min. of focused writing
5) Opt-in sharing of what we just wrote
We'll offer prompts, but feel free to do your own thing. Sharing is encouraged but not mandatory, and we'll take our cue from Pat Schneider's "Writing Alone and With Others"/the AWA Method, so the group will offer only positive feedback to those who share: no criticism/thorough critique of just-written work.
