In this Brooklyn Book Festival and BPL Presents partnership, the winners of Brooklyn Public Library’s Book Prize discuss their work with author Lisa Ko, who will delve into the books’ inception and creation. Each fall, Brooklyn Public Library honors outstanding works of nonfiction and fiction/poetry with the BPL Book Prize. Past winners include Catherine Lacey, Lamya H, John Paul Brammer, Xochitl Gonzalez, Craig Taylor, and Threa Almontaser. The shortlist will be announced on September 16 and the winners the weekend of the festival.
