Breastfeeding Basics with NYU Langone
This National Breastfeeding Awareness month, NYU Langone brings you a virtual workshop offering new and expecting parents essential knowledge and practical skills for successful breastfeeding. We will cover topics such as breastmilk benefits for both mom and baby, proper latch techniques, typically newborn feeding behaviors, pumping, and managing common challenges. Join us to build confidence and ensure a positive start to your breastfeeding journey.

About Shoshanna:
Shoshanna started her career as a Labor and Delivery nurse and worked at NYU Langone Medical center in Manhattan. While there, she oversaw and assisted in the births of well over 1,000 babies. While working at NYU Shoshanna became a Lactation Consultant and Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator. She has assisted breastfeeding mothers in the hospital, in the pediatricians office, in community centers and the comforts of their own home. Shoshanna believes that every woman who wants to breastfeed should have the help and opportunity to do so. Currently Shoshanna works at NYU Brooklyn as the Nurse Coordinator of Lactation Services.
