Your favorite all-day bike extravaganza returns to Brooklyn on Saturday, May 20.  Sign up today!  The Gerritsen Beach Library will host a variety of fun programs and activities for all ages.

 Pre-Event: Mother’s Day and Bike the Branches Flower Sale by Friends Group:  The Gerritsen Beach Library Friends Group will be selling potted flowers to raise funds for the Gerritsen Beach branch. Four days: Thursday, May 11; Friday, May 12; Saturday, May 13; and Saturday, May 20 10:00am-4:45pm   

Bake Sale by Friends Group: 10:00am-4:45pm    Sweet treats and healthy snacks will be available for sale all day (while supplies last). All proceeds are donated to the Gerritsen Beach Library..

Photo Booth: 12:00pm-3:00pm Homecoming Kings and Queens and other event-day participants can pose for instant pictures at our photo

Family Storytime: 11:00am   Join us to hear new stories and favorite tales read aloud. All ages welcome!

Craft Class for All Ages: Foil Art 11:00am-3:00pm Utilizing this inexpensive and recyclable material, you can mold whatever you desire: objects, people, and more into beautiful foil replicas. Creating art with foil is known to be relaxing and therapeutic. Sponsored by Kingsborough Community College’s Division of Continuing Education, Workforce Development and Strategic Community Partnerships.

Face Painting: 1:30pm-4:00pm Have fun having your face painted at the Gerritsen Beach Library.

Scavenger Hunt:12:00pm-4:00pm     

Banjo Rascals: 1:00pm-2:00pm  Take a musical journey with a variety of distinctive toe tapping music with the Banjo Rascals. You are welcome to sing a long with your favorites.
