ARTMobile @ Sunset Park
Brooklyn Public Library & Residency Unlimited invite you to celebrate the third season of ARTMobile, a free arts program, available to all Sunset Park residents!
ARTMobile is a mobile, outdoor art studio located in Sunset Park, offering arts programs for all ages! We provide materials, but feel free to bring your own if you'd like to upcycle.
Featuring:
Bernice Ho, Make Your Own Futuramas. Participants will be encouraged to imagine an environment that envisions some element of the future and create a diorama about it. Both 3D and 2D materials will be available for use. Come ready to create and dream about the dream.
Jack Hsia, Painting the Manhattan Skyline and Urban Landscapes. Kids will be given reference images of art styles from different cultural backgrounds to either copy, or inspire them to create artwork in that style.
Camila Raitses, Flying Creatures: Kite-Making Workshop. Design and build creature-inspired kites using simple materials in a multi-part workshop. In the coming weeks, we will fly them and turn the sky into a shared exhibition of imagined beings.
ARTMobile will be joined by the BPL Bookmobile, offering library card and book browsing services! Come join our celebration!
