AARP will offer walk-in in-person tax preparation services on
Fridays starting at 11:00 am and ending at 3:00pm
at Brooklyn Public Library's Greenpoint Branch at 107 Norman Ave. at Leonard St., Brooklyn, NY 11222
from 2/13/2026 - 4/10/2026 (Except 4/3/2026-Good Friday).
AARP will be limiting their appointments to 20 per session. If you are not seen the first day you arrive, you will become priority for the following week.
AARP Foundation volunteer tax-aides can help with the types of tax returns listed here.

If you are filing jointly with a spouse, your spouse will need to be present to sign off on the documents.
AARP will only be handling tax preparation for those who live and work in New York State.
AARP will not be handling tax preparation for landlords.
