Helmet Giveaways

Free bike helmet fitting and distribution event presented by the NYC Department of Transportation on Thursday, May 5 at Central Library 3:30-6:30pm. Helmet Fitting Flyer (PDF)

Free Family Cycling Class Presented by Bike New York

Join us on Thursday, May 5 from 3:00-5:00pm for a free evening presentation and discussion for parents or guardians who want to learn how to ride with children. This free educational class takes place in the Leon Levy Information Commons meeting room 4, located in the Central lobby. Registration is required, sign up now.


Don't want to ride but still want to participate? You can volunteer on the day of the event, greeting visitors and stamping passports. Learn more.
