Brooklyn Eagles Community Service Projects

Advocacy Day for Brooklyn Public Library

Brooklyn Eagles Community Service Projects

Advocacy Projects: Brooklyn Eagles can help advocate for BPL by inviting members of the community to sign petitions, attend advocacy rallies and speak with local elected officials about the need for BPL.

Volunteer Projects: Brooklyn Eagles can join more than 1,500 volunteers as they contribute their talents, skills and knowledge to the people of Brooklyn at Brooklyn Public Library. Volunteers provide after school homework help, lead English conversation groups, help librarians with literacy programs, and more.

Friends Groups Projects: The Friends Groups at BPL are volunteer groups that play a vital role in fundraising, advocating and volunteering for BPL programs and services for its 60 neighborhood branches in Brooklyn neighborhoods.  Help Friends Groups develop relationships with local businesses, raise positive public awareness, and generate opportunities for increased funding for BPL branches.

Bike the Branches: Join the Brooklyn Eagles Cycling Team for Bike the Branches on Saturday, May 17, an exciting and rewarding one-day bike ride to raise funds for Brooklyn Public Library.
