AUGUST 2007 PROGRAMS FOR ADULTS AT BROOKLYN PUBLIC LIBRARY

July 1, 2007

It’s not too late to sign up for our Summer Reading program! Designed to make reading activities appealing for readers of all ages, we invite adults to attend readings by contemporary authors and book group discussions led by renowned scholars. This month’s highlights include talks by mystery writer Grace Edward at Leonard Library and by Shelly Reuben at Windsor Terrace Library. As we have expanded our employment-related resources through Skills Training & Employment Project (STEP), a variety of free educational programs are available for adult learners, including Interviewing Skills and Resume Writing. Parents of babies are encouraged to participate in our Babies & Books programs. Read on for more information.
