    Are you looking to improve your skills to make yourself more attractive to employers in your job search? Come to find out more about Brooklyn Public Library’s online learning platforms, which allow you to take skill-building classes in many subjects without paying hundreds of dollars. These include:

    Metrix Learning System, a site that lets you rate your skills and choose courses to build your skills in the job market

    Lynda.com, a site with educational videos focused on technology and business skills Attendance at an information session is required to gain a license to use the Metrix Learning System.

    Basic Internet skills and a BPL library card are required for all learning platforms. The Business & Career Library is presenting this program.

    Registration is required.

    Please be sure to be on time to avoid missing important information and plan to be present for approximately 1 ½ hours.
