Covenant House
Job training and employment services. After completing job readiness training at a Brooklyn Resource Center, teens may participate in the following programs offered at the Regional Training Center: bank teller, construction, culinary arts, desktop publishing, introduction to computers, nurse’s aide, security guard and silk screening. Youth currently working are welcome to community site to meet counselors and participate in life skills workshops. Ages 16-21.

Grand Street Settlement

Job Corps
Federally funded education and job training/placement for low-income, at-risk youth. Residential and nonresidential programs. Stipend included. Preadmissions orientation on Mondays and Tuesdays at 1:45 PM at Montague Street location. Birth certificate and Social Security Card required at orientation. Ages 16-24.
