1984 Book Discussion

*REGISTRATION IS CURRENTLY CLOSED FOR JANUARY DISCUSSION*

BPL will be hosting a book discussion group on George Orwell's 1984 every month for 48 months starting in January 2017. Each discussion cycle will be facilitated by a librarian, writer, community member, artist, etc. If you are interested in facilitating a 1984 discussion, please contact us for information on setting it up.

The first discussion cycle will meet for three consecutive weeks on Thursday January 12th, January 19th, and January 26th. The discussions will be held in the Trustees' Room at the Central Library from 7-8:30pm.

Registrants are encouraged to attend all three sessions.

A copy of the text will be provided free of charge for all participants. To sign up for the group, please contact nhiggins@bklynlibrary.org or call 718.230.2745 

The January 2017 discussion group will be limited to 15 participants.
