Brooklyn Heights Planning

 Brooklyn Heights Project

We’re seeking your assistance in planning and designing the new Brooklyn Heights branch library that will serve the neighborhood for decades to come. Over the course of three public planning workshops spanning from March through May, a teen workshop, an online survey and an interactive display located in the library, we met with and elicited feedback from members of the community and Brooklyn Heights branch users about what they wanted to see in their new branch. Working with Marvel Architects, this feedback was consolidated and expressed in two potential scenarios. Now we are seeking your feedback on the sample scenarios. This feedback will inform a Request for Proposals (RFP) that we will issue later this year when we seek an architect to formally design the new branch.

Below are links to the two sample scenarios – each example has three free form fields for you to enter your input. Please tells us the things you like or think work (pros), the things you dislike or don’t think work (cons) and anything else you’d like to provide input on with regards to the design (other).
